Barron Trump Appointed Florida Delegate for GOP National Convention, Alongside Eric Trump as Delegation Chair

Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has been selected to serve as one of Florida’s at-large delegates at the upcoming Republican National Convention. This information, initially reported by ABC News, reflects a significant involvement of the Trump family in the political arena, with several members participating actively in the event.

According to a Trump campaign official, Barron Trump’s inclusion on the delegation roster signifies his keen interest in the political landscape of the United States. “Barron is very interested in our nation’s political process,” the official remarked, confirming his position on the list of delegates.

The family’s presence is notable, with Eric Trump not only serving as a delegate but also taking on the role of delegation chair. Alongside him, Don Jr., Trump’s eldest son, and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, who will be part of the Platform Committee, are also listed. Tiffany Trump, the former president’s youngest daughter, will serve as an at-large delegate as well.

This assembly of delegates also includes key allies and figures who are close to the Trump family, such as Pam Bondi, Sergio Gor, Steve Witkoff, and Ike Perlmutter, all of whom are set to play a pivotal role during the convention.

Florida GOP Chair Evan Power expressed enthusiasm about the composition of the Florida delegation. “We are fortunate to have a great group of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation to the 2024 Republican National Convention,” he stated. Power highlighted the strategic preparations underway in Florida, aiming for a robust performance in the upcoming elections. “We are going to win and we will win big in November,” he confidently added.
