Jim Jordan Demands House Democrats Launch Sham Election Investigation

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is demanding that the House launch an investigation into the “integrity of the 2020 election,” according to Axios.

Together with Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Jordan wrote to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and Oversight panel Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) on Wednesday insisting that there be oversight hearings into “troubling reports of irregularities and improprieties.”

Republicans have failed continuously to show that widespread fraud occurred during this month’s election, as President Donald Trump maintains baselessly that the election was stolen from him.

Axios noted that Trump “has lost several in a series of lawsuits” and his own “Department of Homeland Security called the election ‘the most secure in American history.’”
